Meet Jim Eyre
With several decades of extensive experience in the real estate and mortgage industries, Jim Eyre has dedicated his professional life to helping individuals and families achieve their dream of home ownership. Jim was born and raised in Texas. He got started in business at the young age of 13, by partnering in the ownership of a clothing store with a friend who was 16. He learned early on that businesses have cycles, with fluctuating needs for extra capital during those cycles. He also became keenly aware that many business owners and entrepreneurs couldn’t get that necessary capital from their banks during those crucial times.

Moved to Washington State at 16 Years of Age
Just before his junior year of high school, Jim’s family moved to eastern Washington State. Graduating as Salutatorian of his class, he also ran track, played baseball and basketball, and started on both offense and defense for his school’s first State Championship football team.
Later he played two years of college football in central Washington. After college, Jim joined the real estate industry in 1976. Quickly becoming an up-and coming real estate agent, he and four builders developed a successful new construction program from scratch. He also spent seven years managing residential, multi-family real estate, before being involved in the management of two different real estate firms.
The Home Loan Man
Entering the mortgage industry in late 1992, Jim has worked both as a mortgage banker, and as a mortgage broker. Known as “the home loan man” by many of his former clients, and has served as “Preferred Lender” for many different builders.
Life Beyond Mortgages
In his personal life, Jim is the proud father of two daughters, both of whom have advanced college degrees, and who have excelled in their chosen fields. One owns a school serving the needs of special needs children, and the other is an operatic vocalist and voice coach. Jim is a “wannabe” golfer, and a weekend motorcycle cowboy. He loves sports and supports the local professional teams. Jim enjoys serving his community, and enjoys living in the beautifully scenic Pacific Northwest.
